Megan Franklin, a high school senior who lives with her grandmother in a dank basement apartment, has been abandoned all her life.       When a creamy envelope arrives from an established New York law firm  informing Megan that she is beneficiary of the Cromwell estate, she thinks this surely must be a joke. Lucile and Archibald Cromwell were two famous spiritualists from the late 1800s. Certain they were going to reincarnate early in the twenty-first century, the couple left their vast estate to their future selves. Megan is thought to be the reincarnated Lucile Cromwell, reborn to perform a mysterious mission that Lucy and Archie were unable to complete. What’s even more intriguing, however, is the young man thought to be Archie Cromwell reborn, with whom Megan must share the estate. Can Megan finish what Lucy Cromwell could not?
