Sometimes accidents happen for a reason.
After a catastrophic car crash in which all her fellow passengers are killed, Becky Reynalds, a typical albeit privileged high school senior, begins perceiving the voice of a little girl named Jenny whom nobody but she can hear. The accident and resulting near-death experience also gifts Becky with the uncanny ability to sketch and paint like a master artist. The tragedy seems to have opened a mediumistic doorway that leaves a troubled Becky wondering if she’s experiencing first-break symptoms of schizophrenia or if she can truly hear voices of the dead.
